Brewing Ingredients
Beer is composed of four basic ingredients -
water, malt, hops
and yeast. This page briefly discusses each
in turn. Many brewers also brew with
adjuncts to alter some characteristic of their beer.
Accordingly, some of the more common adjuncts and their effects
are discussed as well.
